Finally, I finished it!!!

Remember my never-ending free crochet project I posted last year? Well, after a long work during the three last summer holidays , I’ve FINALLY managed to finish it!!!

I don’t know if it’s good or not, I have seen it so much, that I’m not able to make any judgement at all on it. It’s asymmetrical and totally freestyle, just as I had planned it to be. Ok, initially I wanted into make it with sleeves, but I ‘ve quitted the idea quite fast, as I noticed how complicated it really is to free-crochet curved surfaces that fit exactly as you want them to…

So, this is it:

Simple grey dress

Here is one of the very few projects, that I’ve managed to finish this summer: a crochet lace dress, inspired by the stitches in “Crochet Lace Innovations” by Doris Chan.

I used a quite fine yarn and, following the advice of Doris Chan, a crochet hook one or two sizes above the usually recommended one. This makes it quite airy and easy to fit!
