Knitting

Autum is approaching

This mosaic tunic top is knitted with double yarn from regia sock yarn combined with kid seta mohair. The skirt is knitted with the same yarn without kid seta orange. The belt is knitted from yarn named arveta. Finaly I must have to do the neckline before wearing.

Blue Motion

A lightweight with almost 189 gr. This pattern is out of Filati Home Nr, 46, Modell 63, but I used another yarn. Only grey is too boring to me.

Summer is green

Green is one of my favorite summer colors, especially for the transition time between spring and summer: it is fresh and does not require to be well tanned.

This top was the work of my last summer holidays, unfortunately (again) finished too late to be worn after being completed. The back side was inspired by the  Trapezoid Tee by Sarah Wilson. For the front side I used the  Complex lace stitch from Knittingfool, a site with wonderful elaborate stitch patterns.

Here is the result:

Carnival Greetings

Carnival time in Rhineland inspired me sewing some funny hats. Only 4 parts.
For double-face looking you will need two ones, which are sewed together. The hats are also can be used during sunny days to keep the sun away. For cold days I also knitted a fake-hair hat. The yarn is brazilia lungo. Wish you having a few nice party days next week.

Another LAMANA piece

I’ve never managed to knit more than one pattern from the same magazine, even if I liked the style and was amazed by many models: either it took me already too long for the first one, or the end of the season arrived, or I just found some new, more interesting pattern somewhere else. But this LAMANA issue is really full of beautiful knits, easy to make.
The wonderful, yet simple stitch is knitted from left to the right, the sleeves are added at the end.
